Most solar farm projects are carried out because of the fantastic return on investment. You will not only protect your business against rising energy costs but will also add value, reduce your carbon footprint and receive an inflation linked (RPI) income for 25 years from the Feed In Tariff (FIT). In most instances this income is tax-free. There are also other tax advantages for business investing in solar PV. Stand-alone solar farms also attract the FIT but may also be able to negotiate more favourable export tariffs.
